Citizens Advice Bureau
The CAB are a massively important organisation, and one which could prove invaluable to attendees. Offering free impartial advice on a whole range of issues, the CAB helped with over 7.1 million cases in the UK last year. At the Futures Fest they’ll be available to talk through any troubles attendees might be experiencing. They’ll also be on the lookout for volunteers, so if you think you can help and need a CV boost make sure you have a chat with them.
Glasgow Taxis
The city’s favourite taxi firm are no stranger to our events and are well known for their generous freebies. Alongside dishing out whatever treats they’ve taken along, Glasgow Taxis will also be on hand to let people know about their services.
The Jobcentre Plus
As event backers The Jobcentre Plus have done a lot to raise awareness of the Futures Fest. They’ll be continuing their support over both days at the event where they’ll be doing their best to help young people back into work. They’ll also be on hand to let people know about the various different ways they can support you; whether it’s a little CV tinkering you need or some help starting up your own business.
Somewhere To
Got something you want to do but can’t find anywhere suitable to do it? Somewhere To might be able to help. Somewhere To specialise in finding unused space for 16-25s looking for a place to train, exhibit their art, keep fit or just get creative. So if you have a passion which you’re struggling to make the most of, these guys should be your first port of call at the Futures Fest.
Strathclyde Partnership for Transport
SPT are another long term events partner of ours and are once more a welcome addition to our list of exhibitors. As with all of those in who are booked in they’ll be more than willing to speak with attendees about all the services they offer.
